Info: Style
The Style pane of the Info window lets you change the appearance of selected shapes and lines.

To color in a shape, select one of the four fill options: None, Solid, Linear, or Radial. Linear and radial gradient fills have a start color and an end color. The two colors can be swapped using the button between the two color wells. Linear fills can be at any rotation. Holding shift while using the rotation slider will constrain the angle to multiples of 15 degrees. If you select a radial fill, you will see a control for setting the center point of the radial fill. Just click anywhere within the control and drag the small black crosshair to the desired location.

To fill a shape with a background image, drag an image into the Image well. (Click the Clear button to remove an image fill.) Check the Tile box to use the image as a repeated pattern instead of stretching it to fill the shape. The Opacity slider allows you to make the image partially transparent or blend it with a solid, linear gradient, or radial graident fill.

To display a soft "drop shadow" for a shape, check the Shadow checkbox. To change the color of the shadow, click the Shadow color well.

To display a border around a shape, check the Line checkbox. Click the Line color well to change the border color. You can change the weight of the line with the Thickness slider, and choose a dot/dash style with the buttons on the right. (These options apply to standalone lines as well as the outlines of shapes.)
